Engraving
Why engraving?
Engraving offers a number of advantages over other processes, particularly the permanence and vandal resistance of characters actually incised into the material; the prestige of high quality materials such as brass, stainless steel, bronze and aluminium as well as the ability to reproduce fine detail.
What types of engraving do we undertake?
Prestigious signs for professionals - for example solicitors, notaries, accountants, doctors, dentists, architects and designers; memorial and commemorative signs; registered office signs; industrial engraving such as control panels, mimic panels, serial plates, labels and tags; tallies,T cards and other items for fire service use; heritage and interpretative signs; miscellaneous items such as office desk and door signs, badges and key tags etc.
What materials do we use?
Brass, aluminium, stainless steel, bronze, wood and a wide range of plastics/laminates for interior or exterior use. These include traditional rigid laminates often know as "traffolite" or "traff"; reverse engravables for a perfectly smooth face and laminates that have metal or wood effect surfaces.
Do we engrave in house?
Yes, and this naturally gives us a cost advantage over the many sign companies who do not have these facilities. Not only this but you can also get accurate advice straight from the horse's mouth
