Individual Letters
What do we mean by individual letters?
Individual letters are characters cut from rigid sheet material to stand in relief to the fixing surface or background. These are often installed with a particular type of fixing to make them stand further away from the wall. They can also be built up with a raised surround.
What materials do we use?
The main materials we use are: self coloured acrylic (i.e. "Perspex") which is a very popular choice; MDF or foamed pvc (i.e. "Foamex") which is often used to create thicker characters and/or where a painted finish or a specific colour is required; aluminium faced composite which is lightweight and cost effective; stainless steel - either brushed or polished - which creates a particularly prestigious look.
